Jennifer Kennedy

Dr. Jennifer Kennedy is the Vice President of Quality, Standards, & Compliance at CHAP. With over 35 years of experience in diverse healthcare settings, she has dedicated the last 25 years to leading and innovating in hospice and palliative care.

Dr. Kennedy holds a Doctoral Degree in Health Care Education and Policy, a dual Master’s degree in Health Education and Case Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and is a Certified Healthcare Compliance Professional.

An esteemed faculty at national and state conferences, Dr. Kennedy contributes her expertise through articles in medical trade journals, reviews and contributes to healthcare publications, and develops educational resources and programs for hospice and palliative care providers. Additionally, she imparts her knowledge and experience to the next generation of healthcare leaders as a university lecturer in Graduate Health Care Administration courses.

Kimberly Skehan

Kimberly Skehan, Vice President of Accreditation, brings 30 years of experience in clinical operations within the home health and hospice industry. Her expertise in regulatory compliance and risk management supports providers through the accreditation process, fostering communication with federal and state agencies.

Passionate about education, she offers follow-up support for plans of correction, enhancing service quality and industry standards. Kimberly is active in the Regulatory Committee of the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and holds an AHCC-accredited Home Care Coding Specialist (HCS-D) certification, along with being a certified OASIS reviewer (COS-C). She earned her B.S. in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University and her M.S. in Nursing Administration from the University of Connecticut (UCONN), where she has also been an adjunct faculty member.
